I bought these speakers for my car and installed them in my car, it was a pretty simple process actually i was quite impressed with my self, i got one of my friends who is an electrician to help me, just to make sure i didn't screw anything up.
There is actually a big difference between the stock speakers its really noticeable!
The next thing on the list is the speakers on the rear deck which are 6X9's and they are alpine type "s" 's as well and they will set me back about 150$ which isn't that bad!

Current Plans
Ok my plans are to my a video explaining everything about my car in the next couple days and say what my future plans are for my car. Ive learned that you need a lot of spare time and money to upgrade my car and frankly I haven't had a lot of time and money. I just went through a move during November and December I was really busy with work and family so now I've finally had some time to relax and start saving. So within the next few months I will begin upgrading my car, It's also been extremely cold swell so that has put a pause to my work.
Because I haven't been able to do much with my car I have been learning lots on YouTube, like installing fog lights, lowering springs, transmissions. I found a guy on YouTube named "CrisFix" he provides lots of good videos and "HowTo" videos that explain a lot and are easy to understand.

That is his YouTube channel. He has helped me understand lots and also learned so much!

My Future Plans.
So I have finally figured out what my future plans are. I I'm going to keep my Monte Carlo SS and I will (hopefully) Buy a Pontiac fiero it looks like a mini Trans Am or a styled down version, The Pontiac Fiero is a mid-engine sports car made in the USA (the only one ever produced my an american company) in the mid 1980's, the car was produced 1984 through 1988 only lasting 4 years these car have become quite valuable. There are lots of mixed reviews about the Fiero. The first two years (1984-1985) were not the greatest years, they had issues like a few engine fires due do not enough coolant getting all the way to the back of the car, and multiple recalls. But the most favourable ones are 1986-1988, the GT model. This is when Pontiac tweaked all the issues and it truly became a really fun sports car. The Fiero is a really cool looking car as well and ever since I found out about it I fell in love with it. It would be amazing to own one, It's a total head turner, because they are quite rare.

Thinking about a new car
Im thinking about buying a new car, my car is not the greatest on gas, so I've been looking at smaller sporty cars like the Chevy Cobalt SS, Saturn Ion Redline and Pontiac G5 GT. Something that is a 4 cylinder so its better on gas. I also want a manual, because driving an automatic is boring. Also manuals are usually better on gas to.

Installing Winter Tires
So this past weekend I went over to mikes place and I used his shop to put my winter tires on my rims, it went really well and it was a learning experience, it was quite cool to see the machine in action, I can really tell the difference between my summer tires and the winter ones for sure! I have a better stoping distance and I can get way better traction, Its amazing what they do, I did not believe that winter tires did anything actually! The winter tires are 225/60 R16 GT Radials, I got them from Domain Co-op for 390$! great price, and for a student very affordable. I put together a short video.

Winter Tires, Videos and Updates
Ok so I have purchased winter tires for my 2004 Monte Carlo SS. I got 4 of them for 390$ which is a steal of a deal. Mike Powerhouse has a shop at his house that can put wheels on rims, I'm not purchasing aluminum rims because I would have to reset the tire pressure sensor and I would have to bring it to a mechanic to do that for 120$ a tire which is crazy, so ill be putting them on my rim that I currently have. I will be going to his house on Sunday to install them.
I will be making a video on how to put winter tires on your rims, also a video about my whole car at mikes shop. Shout out to hillhouse for letting me use his shop.
So I wanted to get a new phone (iPhone 6) but my speakers in my car started to pop when I play my music loud so it looks like I'm not getting a phone :/. I will be getting new speakers soon, either in late December or during Christmas break when I have some extra time and money.

My Car
https://www.youtube.com/user/TheOutdoorCanadian
This is a link to my YouTube channel, I'll be posting videos of my car on there. Go check it out!
Today I'm going to talk about my car. My Car is a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. Some things that have been done to my car, is a flow master performance exhaust, a K&N CAI (Cold air intake) and two 12inch MTX Audio Terminator subwoofers.
Throughout the summer I have Plasti-Diped my rims to a flat black colour. I think this really adds to the "sportiness" of my car (Plasti-Dip is a removable rubber spray in a can). I have also Plasti-Diped my gas cap because it was rusting from the inside so I put a few layers of plasti-dip to stop the rust, yes plasti-dip actually stops rust because its a rubber spray it gets in the rust and prevents it to spread.
